  How should I report zero hours for November?

  this was my topic november 3rd;.

  for the first time in my jw history, i turned in a slip with a big zero written in every column,.

  turned it over and wrote "zero tracts" below that, i wrote "stumbled by the co".

  I would write on the back of the slip " please be more specific as I now consider every magazine,tract and book to be about false religion,yours!

  and even one car chase! The car chase ended when they discovered I wasn't driving my truck that day - someone else was. I had taken the bus to work.

  Finally free, being in Califonia all I pictured was a news helicopter overhead and your truck racing down the road with the witness mobile in hot pursuit with tracts and magazines flying out, unbelievable!

  On the way out, sounds like they are not taking your bait, either step up the "I'm over here, talk to me approach" or maybe its time you change your name to "finally just left"

  All kidding aside, keep us posted.

  the wts makes me so angry....i just talked to my sh*t head step dad who treated me like crap all my life and who is now trying to tell me how apostate i have become and how it was me who left my mother in the first place when i left the dubs...(so i shunned her first????

  ) he said he could hear the "apostate" in my voice....god i hate it!!

  there is no reasoning with them at all....it feels so hopeless.

  Hi MegsMomma,

  So many of us understand this far to well. I agree 100% with what mrsjones5 said,

  I've made a rule for myself never to talk about the society or anything dealing with religion with my parents. Things have gotten heated and there's just no point to it. So when the subject comes up I just say "let's talk about something else" sometimes that works and sometimes it's doesn't. But since my parents and I aren't talking right now it doesn't really matter anyway

  That word "Apostate!!" is thrown out there as a knee jerk response to anything DIFFERENT heard than what the WBTS teaches. everytime I hear that word it reminds me of how my wife responds when she see's a bug and jumps on the counters.

  My concern originally with joining this board was, we would be no different than any other group who gets together to share identical feelings and thoughts. the real truth is, we all don't get along, recent posts have cemented that, but we do overall respect our differences and rarely do we try and force anyone to see it our way. most when asked about religion don't mind sharing their opinions and how they arrived at them but also try and convey that it will always be one personal choice on how they wish to worship or not. I just wish the witnesses would take of the company hat for a moment and allow others to do the same.

  My experience has been for years, the less said the better. anytime my family brings it up I quickly remind them it's pointless to argue.no one needs to have that pressure and all it ever does it cause deeper and deeper hurt feelings. a conversation should be a two way street but with the witnesses it's them driving the wrong way on a one way street and others are left to try and get out of the way or worse yet if you don't, a accident.

  First of all, we are not going into the kh and trying to persuade anyone we are right or looking for people to join us here at the forum. Nor does any other site or chat room go looking for members in the kh do they? No. In order for the JWs to learn about us - they have to"sneak in" here themselves. Also as far as I know not one apostate I am familiar with has started his/her own religion. So to say we want the active JWs to follow us - is another lie and the WT knows it. What they really want is to stop loosing members and they know the internet has been instrumental in helping people leave the org.

  Thanks Restrangled, I know about the getting older part, I have you beat by a few month's.years ago in LA, I met George Benson at a friend of mines KH. nice guy. nicer than Michael Jackson was a Dodger Stadium in the 70's. can't remember which District Convention it was but I was a teenager, you should of seen the fuss made over him then! hypocrite jw's hounding him for a autogragh

  Need some decorating advice

  i have been in my townhouse for 3 1/2 years now and still no pictures on the wall.

  i have a 10 x 14 living room small , beige walls and carpets living room furniture is new green sofa and loveseat wooden tables i can't seem to find the painting i would like over the sofa.

  my living room and dining room adjoin and get little to no sunlight.

  Good tip MM,

  HB, I know you prefer oils and watercolors but another cool idea depending on the size of the picture/s you want, take your camera and photograph things in and outside your home from odd angles. have them enlarged to the sizes you want, frame them and hang them up in groupings. it also adds a personal touch and is quite the conversation piece when friends come over and ask what these are?

  Hi Hambeak,

  Have you tried garage sales or estate sales to find wall art? often times, the price is right and changing the frame to suit your decor makes all the difference. what happens to be your style? sometimes painting something yourself kinda abstract allows ones personal touch and you can include colors that fit your pallet.

  Out here, starving art students will hold galleries at hotels and such and sometimes you can get unframed artwork for less than 100$

  Were you looking for just one picture, over the sofa?

  due to funkyderek i have come to the decision to leave this board.

  when i posted on the current gay thread in a way that i thought would stimulate thinking and lighten up the seriosness of the thread and have a laugh, he and others put me down publically labelling me.

  so i find it difficult now to continue posting knowing that someone has influenced others into thinking that i'm not worthy of being here because my phrasing and spelling is bad and that i'm apparently a "hyporite".
